La Cala is a superb 60-hole Resort that offers an idyllic rural retreat just 20 minutes from Marbella and only 30 minutes from Malaga International Airport. La Cala is considered one of the best golf resorts in Andalusia.

With three magnificent golf courses (America, Asia and Europe), each course offers the golfer a unique and different challenge, seamlessly integrated into a natural setting of rolling terrain with spectacular landscapes in the background. There is also a six-hole par 3 pitch & putt course and a golf academy (La Cala Golf Academy). The three 18-hole courses were designed by Cabell B. Robinson and have varying degrees of difficulty:

COURSE AMERICA: 6009 meters, par 72, five of the holes are par 5. Water hazards on holes 9 and 16. It is a wide course with few bunkers, making it a relatively easy course to play. The main difficulty lies in its mountainous topography, with slopes and small elevated greens.

COURSE ASIA: 5925 meters, par 72. It is the oldest golf course at La Cala Resort and also the most challenging, so it is the most respected by golf professionals. With narrow and short fairways, and with 4 par 5 holes where you will need particular expertise, especially in short approach shots.

COURSE EUROPA: 6014 meters, par 71. The Europa course is a little wider than the other two courses at La Cala Resort. Thanks to its design with wide fairways and flatter terrain, it is ideal for intermediate golfers. It has a main bridge and four other bridges that cross the river Ojén, as well as tunnels to get around by buggy.
